Welcome to #PyroLove, the group dedicated to the wonderful and enigmatic Pyro! He/She/It deserves just as much attention as all the others, so if you love the Pyro, this is the group for you! QuickLinks: Main Contest Page! will hold links to current and past contest blogs and winners Suggestions! just leave a comment on this blog Steam and Live Names Enteract with other members online! So. How do I join? You click the "Join Group" button. [hurr..] Your request will be accepted immediately. How do I submit art? One of two ways. The first way is directly on the deviant page, there's a button titled "Submit to Group". Click that and type in the group[s] you want to submit to. The second way is to come to 's homepage and click "Submit Art". Place it in the folder that best fits, and if it doesn't fit any of them, notify one of the people in charge so they can make a new folder for it. On the subject of submitting art, what kind of art is allowed? This is a general Pyro group, and we accept general Pyro images. Our current folders include: RED Pyro BLU Pyro OC Pyro Sketches and Line art Written work Cosplay And GMOD [There's also the Contest folder, but that one's self explanatory.] We'll accept art if the main focus is Pyro. Other classes can be depicted, by all means, but this is a Pyro group, after all! Please, submit your work to the folder it best fits. PLEASE. Also. Just because we are quite a relaxed, easy going group, doesn't mean there are no submission rules. No Pyrographic[gettit? ] images, please. If people actually want to see that, feel free to spam those in charge with messages about it, and we'll do something. But until further notice, keep entries to a PG/PG-14 rating. No extreme gore/violence/blood. Again, if you people want, say, a folder for gore-y things, tell us. But until then, limit it to flesh wounds. Please, no pieces that clearly have no effort put into them. Have consideration for the people whose inboxes are being spammed by that. Sketches, line art, and doodle dumps are acceptable; scraps, lone doodles, and mostly blank pages are not acceptable. Are there any rules on commenting? This group doesn't have a "Give critique to get critique" rule or anything like that, we only ask that you be polite in your comments to fellow bored artists. Art theft If we ever catch anyone in the act of art theft, we'll hunt them down and gut them like a Cornish Game He– Okay, just kidding. We wouldn't do that, really. We would, however, kick them from this group, blacklist them to our affiliates and other groups they're part of, and report them, because art theft is a horrible thing to do, and it deserves punishment. But what is art theft? That's a hard question, because everybody has their own idea of it. As a bottom line, art theft is; Taking other people's art and claiming it as your own Using someone's base without permission/proper ownership references Stealing someone's idea, changing a few details, and claiming it as your own. So please, don't do it! We love our members here, and we'd hate to see this kind of behaviour, because we would have to reciprocate exactly as I've laid out above. Uh... okay... Anything else? Follow basic rules of courtesy; Ask before you use bases unless it says directly in the description. Ideas are personal ideas. By all means you can take a separate idea away from something and credit the original artist for it, but you can't just take the whole idea, change a few words, and say it's something totally different. There's tons of rules. I don't know all of them. So just use common sense and common courtesy. Y'all know how it goes– "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you." |
